Take 'Em Fishing 2019

On June 27th, 2019, Nebraska Game and Parks hosted Bellevue's first Community Fishing Night at American Heroes Park! These state-wide events feature Game and Parks staff and certified fishing instructors whose goal is to promote fishing in Nebraska by teaching people of all ages and experience levels the basics of this fun and relaxing activity.

Thanks to the many volunteers who helped get the poles baited and in the water for an excited and large group of family, friends, and neighbors. And thanks to the Bellevue Recreation Department and Parks Department for their hard work to get AHP looking wonderful after months of heavy rain and flooding - "Bellevue Strong!"
